Who is Gal Gadot

Gal Gadot-Varsano, an Israeli actress and model, was born on April 30, 1985. She was crowned Miss Israel 2004 at the age of 18. She then spent two years as a military fitness instructor in the Israel Defense Forces, after which she began studying at IDC Herzliya while pursuing her modeling and acting jobs. Gadot made her international cinematic debut in Fast & Furious (2009) as Gisele Yashar, a character she reprised in several later episodes of the franchise. 

She rose to international fame as Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe, appearing in films such as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) and Wonder Woman (2016). (2017). She's since gone on to star in the Netflix action comedy Red Notice (2021) and the mystery drama Death on the Nile.

Gadot was born on April 30, 1985, in the Israeli town of Petah Tikva, where she grew up. She was reared in the Israeli city of Rosh HaAyin. Her given name means "wave" in Hebrew, and her surname means "riverbanks." Irit (née Weiss), a physical education teacher, and Michael Gadot, an engineer, are her parents. Prior to her birth, the family changed their surname from "Greenstein" to "Gadot." [24] Dana, her younger sister, is her only sibling. Gadot is of Ashkenazi Jewish origin and was raised in a "very Jewish, Israeli family milieu," according to her. Her father comes from a sixth-generation Sabra family (Israeli-born Jew).

Gadot's maternal grandparents were both born in the twentieth century; her grandfather survived the Holocaust after being imprisoned in the Auschwitz incarceration camp during the German takeover of Czechoslovakia, while her grandmother managed to flee the continent before World War II broke out.

Gadot won the 2004 Miss Israel beauty pageant at the age of 18, and went on to represent Israel in the Miss Universe 2004 competition, which was held in Ecuador that year.

Miss Sixty, Huawei smartphones, Captain Morgan rum, Gucci fragrances, Vine Vera skincare, and Jaguar Cars have all used her as a model in international ads. She was named the face of Gucci's Bamboo perfume line in 2015.  Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Bride Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, UMM, Cleo, Fashion, Lucire, and FHM have all featured her as a covergirl. From 2008 through 2016, Gadot was the face of the Castro fashion label.  Her annual modeling and acting earnings was estimated to be NIS 2.4 million in 2013.
